2024 was the St. Augustine Art Association’s (STAAA) 100th anniversary. In celebrating this historic moment, STAAA hosted a juried exhibit, History Through the Lens of the Artist from July 18 – August 25, 2024.

The history of a place is visible everywhere you look, and can be evident by the buildings, waterways, and landmarks, and more. This exhibit challenges artists to observe their surroundings and tell a story of the development and evolution of the culture and people of a community from its inception until today.
